The College Rhymney in collaboration with UHOVI are offering a Foundation Degree in Digital Photography for a September 20111 start. We hope that the course might be of interest to your camera club and that you would help us by telling your members about it.
The course will give learners a mix of practical and creative photography skills, plus the business know-how to start and sustain a photography business. Throughout the course, you will build up a portfolio of practical photography work, through specialist modules in photographing landscapes and people, plus a final major project or portfolio on a topic of your choice. You will also learn about the business of being a photographer, from generating and presenting ideas, to studio practice, to managing and financing a project.
