The committee would like to remind members of the new competition rules for this year. When submitting work for club competitions, in addition to their normal digital entry on disc or pen drive etc. They should also include on the disc or pen drive a digital version of their print entry which will be retained for selection purposes for external battles.
New Committee For the Rhondda Camera Club
Over the last few months, we have been given notice that many of the previous committee intended to resign from their positions (for personal/health/work reasons), and I’m sure that the members will join me in thanking each of them for the incredible hard work and dedication they have shown to the club during their time on the committee. This often involved many hours of work during the week, and a lot of meetings at unsociable hours to ensure the smooth running of the club. I would particularly like to thank Brian Merry for his hard work in securing a communities first grant for the club - enabling us to buy some much needed equipment.
A new committee was elected at this week’s AGM. The resulting shake up and election of new officials has resulted in quite a mix of more established members and some newer members, which will need a short time of settling in. I’m sure that the new committee with Adrian Lant as Chairman will continue the good work of the previous committee.

The Rhondda Camera Club will remain open throughout the summer season starting 1st June. There will be no formal activities scheduled, so bring along your cameras; laptops etc., and we’ll be available to answer any queries.
